I've just received the whestTWO.2 Discrete safely after those thousands of Kms across Switzerland.
I must say that I am totally amazed at the increased detail and soundstaging over my Avid Pulsus. The pricing between the 2 is not far apart but the extra detail is incredible. The Avid which I still have here sounds very rough and basic. I have just played a Tina Brooks album that all jazz lovers should know - True Blue. Every track played on the whestTWO.2 Discrete makes Mr Brooks sound like he is playing in the room. The speed and realism is brilliant. The Avid Pulsus just struggles with getting the sound out and what does come out sounds like hifi - and in a bad way. Not really a phonostage for Jazz loves or anything requiring delicacy.
Give me a few years with the whestTWO.2 Discrete as I can see myself moving to a bigger model of yours. I am stunned, truely stunned.
