I have had this NOS 2023/24 40RDT SE in my system for 3 days now. It is absolutely stunning. I have never heard my vinyl setup sound this good. I have stereo separation that I have never experienced before. The Manley Steelhead and Chinook SE Mk2 sounds mono in comparison. The Chinook will be on Audiogon this week !!!!
OK, so I love to listen to Christopher Cross' 1st Album as that has great songs on and I am very attached to it. Well, I am hearing things I have never heard before. Chords are very easy to follow (i'm a guitarist myself). Backing vocals are THERE... upfront at times and focused. When the backing vocals are deeper in the soundstage, I can still hear each voice. The Manley Chinook MK2 mushes everything together. The magazines said the Chinook Mk2 was a very good stage, that is a lie hahahaha.
OVERALL... incredible value even if the unit was $12K !!
