What can I say??
I am absolutely gobsmacked with what I am hearing. I have just put the whestTWO.2 Discrete up against my main system's phono stage - Origin Live Discovery Ultra @ £4300. I cannot believe that the whestTWO.2 Discrete is better in EVERY SINGLE WAY.
It is absolutely annoying that the £4300 Origin Live Discovery Ultra cannot compete with this because I spend a lot of money on OL products. At the same time, I can hear so much of what my OL Sovereign Turntable is doing. The imaging and separation of the whestTWO.2 Discrete is incredible and makes the Discovery Ultra sound like MONO !!!! It is like I am hearing things in my vinyl pressings for the 1st time.
I'm selling the OL Discovery Ultra and will purchase a 40RDT SE for my main system. I have seen the light.. it has been a steep and expensive learning curve but I now know what phono stages to recommend to friends.
